TRAINING

Our mission at G.E.I. Fluid Power is to provide a cost efficient, timely, and competent service to keep your plant running smoothly and efficiently. At G.E.I. Fluid Power we believe that training is the back bone to your plants success.

We design classes that cater to your needs as a plant to better educate your employees on the equipment they use everyday. Training is an ongoing process in all fields and we have set up different training structures to fit the continuous training over periods of time. We suggest starting with basics going up to specialized training for the exact area of specialization that you require.

We can set up the training around your schedule to fit your plants needs. We can train on any shift and all of your shifts to insure to put your employees in the best case scenario for them to get the most out of the class. By keeping them in the most natural environment that they are accustomed to being in it enhances there learning ability. We can teach the classes in your plant or at one of our facilities which ever is best for your company.

Our training facility at our Milan shop is capable of holding a 20 person training class. We also have classrooms north of Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Canton Ohio. If you need another option we have set up many classes in board rooms at area hotels closer to the company’s facility.

We do offer general courses that cover the basic principals of the field. These classes are held quarterly at one of our different training locations. These are best for companies with 1-6 employees enrolling in the class. The training will be the same quality just with several companies partaking in the same class to off set some of the cost.

"Take-a-Parts” and “Cut-a-Ways” are used to illustrate what is being discussed in the classroom. Another one of the things we offer that is not offered by others is that we have trainers for our classes. This gives the students the ability to apply what they have learned in lecture and to use the knowledge in a work setting. Books and handouts are given throughout the course and these are items the student can use as references when back at the plant working on the machines.
